Amphenol X3 Precision-Machine One-Piece Threaded Backshells
Positronic X3 Precision-Machined One-Piece Threaded Backshells are designed for use with D-Sub connectors and circular M38999/AS85049 backshell accessories. These backshells deliver robust mechanical integrity and continuous 360° EMI shielding. The X3 threaded backshells are compatible with machined and stamped shells for standard, high, and mixed-density D-Sub connectors, including the Mach-D series. These backshells are available in six shell sizes with both standard and low-profile configurations. The X3 threaded backshells are housed in aluminum or stainless steel with multiple plating options and can be specified with fixed or rotating jackscrews. These backshells operate at -55°C to 125°C temperature range and are ideal for military, aero, spaceflight, and industrial applications.
